C1.5 Important Information

Evaluation Dates

1. Practical Use of English Evaluation: (20% of course score)
   Assigned after the end of class on 1 December, you may complete each unit’s tasks as we complete the unit. All tasks must be completed before 23:59 12 January
2. Writing Evaluation: (20%)
   1. Task One: Lesson 8 on day 8 December, due by 23:59 13 December
   2. Task Two: Lesson 17 on day 11 January, due by 23:59 12 January
3. Speaking Evaluation: (20% of course score)
   Lesson 18 on 12 January
4. Reading Evaluation: (20% of course score)
   Lesson 19 on 13 January
5. Listening Evaluation: (20% of course score)
   Lesson 19 on 13 January
6. Grades/Review:
   Lesson 20 on 14 January

If a date change is made, it will be announced in class and posted in the General channel in MS Teams.

For online courses, the Practical Use of English evaluation is to be completed on the Pearson Platform. All remaining evaluations are presented and submitted using an online form, including both Writing Tasks

Holiday Closure

This course schedule includes an extended break over Christmas and New Years holidays. The last day of class in December will be the 22nd, we will come back on January 11th to finish the course. Happy holidays to you and your family!

Passing/Failing

To pass a class at The Anglo, you must:

• take all 5 evaluations
• pass both the Speaking and Writing evaluations
• pass 2 of the remaining 3 evaluations: Listening, Reading, and Use of English

Student Responsibilities

• You must submit both Writing Tasks on time, on the dates noted above.
• You must submit the Practical Use of English on the Pearson Platform on time, as noted above.
• You must complete the Speaking, Listening, and Reading Evaluations on the date noted above.
